Building Collective Agency for Relational Change
Coordination

Cohesion Strategy strengthens the relationships and shared understanding that make collective action possible by supporting funders and organizations already working across difference to:
-
navigate difference
-
surface and resolve values tensions
-
transform conflict into strategic insight
-
foster trust and deepen alignment
Where conflict is present, we surface disagreements with care and attention, so that participants can better understand themselves and their values, ultimately leading to better and more effective collaboration.
Specific activities include:
-
Strategy sessions
-
Half-, full-, or multi-day retreats
-
Facilitating cohort-based learning collaboratives
Prior engagements
-
Facilitated a multi-faith group of advisors recommending strategic responses to community conflict at the Chautauqua Institution.
-
Partnered with Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement (PACE) and Peace and Security Funders Group (PSFG) to convene funder tables on democracy and social cohesion.
