Job Description
Cohesion Strategy is seeking a part-time intern with an interest in pluralistic solutions to support our research and communications efforts. This position is fully remote.
Research: The intern may support our research efforts by:
Searching for additional literature on a subject;
Tracking down full-text copies of articles or books as necessary;
Providing style, format, and copy edits in Word;
Reviewing qualitative interview data;
Running analyses of quantitative data in Excel, including using formulas, tables, and pivot tables to analyze thousands of rows of data; and
Assisting in formatting, sorting, and coding qualitative interview and survey data.
Communications: The intern may support our communications workstreams by:
Supporting our Communications Manager in drafting, copyediting, or posting content to our website and social media channels;
Creating graphics in PPT or Canva;
Providing copyediting and logistical support for virtual events; and
Supporting Social Media advertising campaigns.
Required Qualifications:
Attention to detail;
Facility with research protocols, including access to and knowledge of how to use research library resources both physical and online;
Some experience with qualitative analysis; and
Facility with Word reference and formatting functions.
$17.50 per hour; 5-10 hours per week; fully remote, but with a preference for candidates residing in the District of Columbia, Indiana, or Massachusetts; preference for candidates able to work late September to mid-December.
