In this podcast episode, Allison Ralph joins Paths to Understanding’s Executive Director Terry Kyllo to discuss how her upbringing as an atheist in the Bible Belt led to her involvement in interfaith work. She dives into the violation of her first amendment rights within her K-12 classrooms, and punishment from the school for not being Christian and believing in God. She pivots into the work that faith-based non-profits do in create spaces of belonging and the difficulty in ensuring it doesn't turn into othering.
