When I founded Cohesion Strategy, I was driven by a passion to support and uplift nonprofit and philanthropic organizations that work towards bridgebuilding, pluralism, and belonging. Through partnerships with The Fetzer Institute, Multi-Faith Neighbors Network and more, this passion has only grown. So far, our work has confirmed the immense impact that can come from viewing and understanding that our diversity in the United States can be an asset.
With this growth comes new opportunities for Cohesion Strategy; it is time to expand the team.
I am thrilled to welcome two new staff members to Cohesion Strategy: Abbie Haug, Communications Manager; and Sahithi Ankareddi, Research Intern!
I met Abbie in 2019 when she joined me and then Director Zeenat Rahman at The Aspen Institute’s Religion & Society Program (then The Inclusive America Project). Abbie is currently a graduate student at Harvard Divinity School studying religion, ethics, and politics, and we’ve worked together on numerous publications, reports, and campaigns in the last five years. She brings five years of communications experience at various nonprofits to this role.
With Abbie joining the team, Cohesion Strategy will expand our reach and share more content across social media and our blog. Keep an eye out for new posts and ways to get involved with our work.
Sahithi is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Science at Indiana University. Her academic and professional endeavors focus on applying rigorous data analysis to support strategic advising, facilitation, and research for nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.
With Sahithi’s specialty in data science, she will be supporting our research on faith-inspired grantmakers via public 990 tax records and performing additional data analysis for our market research and evaluation clients. We are very happy to have her on team.
We believe in the importance of shaping and celebrating diverse communities that are built on meaningful relationships, strategic collaboration, and productive conflict. I am looking forward to expanding Cohesion Strategy’s impact with Abbie and Sahithi on board.
Please join me in welcoming Abbie and Sahithi!
